Welding Fabrication is a program to start your career in welding or a related metal working industries. Students will gain knowledge and experience using various processes used in the welding /fabrication industry including Manual and CNC plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting, Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick), Tungsten Metal Arc Welding (TIG), and more. There is a focus on safety and the proper use of the shop, equipment, and power tools. Instruction, practice, and projects focus on readying the student for certification.
