Tradition!

Come see NHS's tradition of performing arts excellence!More than 50 years ago, the Niles High School auditorium opened its doors as a state-of-the-art facility. In addition to being the primary meeting place for the entire NHS school body, this historic venue has hosted hundreds of events that have educated and entertained tens of thousands of patrons, including the world famous Young Americans, favorites such as Da Yoopers, and Niles' own Tommy James.

The Niles High School Auditorium boasts 1,207 seats (including four wheelchair stations, two in front, two in back), making it the largest auditorium of any school district in southwestern Michigan. The stage is a traditional proscenium with an apron. The proscenium arch measures 40' wide by 20' high, and the stage has a working depth of about 28.'
The venue may be historic, but the technology is not. Our sound system and lighting are versatile enough to meet just about any need in any volume or color. In addition, our prices are among the lowest for area auditoriums and performing arts centers, particularly when considering the size of the venue.

We welcome you and hope that you will consider our facility for your production. While the auditorium is primarily a classroom for the students of Niles Community Schools, we welcome all groups. We have a well-trained high school student crew supervised by an on-staff auditorium manager, both of whom strive to make your experience a memorable one. Our stage crew's mission and slogan are one in the same: "Serving Your Show."
