You'll
find Niles Community Schools in Niles, Michigan, in the southwestern
region of the state. With almost 4,000 students in our K-12 program, we
are the largest school district in Niles. Our 300 teachers and
administrative employees help meet the needs of our students, as well
as our community. Scores,
charts, and statistics will tell you that our students rank above
average in math, science and reading. And our high school received the
Chase School of Change Award from Fordham University and the Chase
Manhattan Foundation in 2000. This national distinction recognized the
school's success in bringing significant change to our entire academic
environment. Travel
around our district and you will find three elementary schools, a sixth grade center, a middle
school, a high school, an early childhood development center, and alternative and adult
education programs.
